This introduction into the art of connecting with horses is the ultimate horse experience for all ages. We designed this educational experience to meet the needs of anyone interested in horses.
We are frequently asked if we have a way for people to spend some time with horses and learn about them. Some are just curious to see if they enjoy being around horses, and others are seeking to reconnect with horses. Whatever the reason this is the perfect way to spend quality time with horses.
The goal is for guests to walk away feeling that they had an opportunity to connect with our amazing animals. Handling and riding the horses and ponies is encouraged during the program, however it is not required to enjoy the experience.
This is an hour-long educational experience, during which you will learn about what it takes to care for and ride horses. Guests will get an opportunity to interact with our many rescued horses and other farm animals. You will learn about the day-to-day work involved in caring for and training horses.
During our horse encounters, participants will have an opportunity to help groom a horse, assist in saddling and handling the horse or pony before riding. Guests will then get to ride one of our horses. For those who prefer not to ride, there will be extra time to spend interacting with our animals. Our goal is that participants will walk away with a deeper understanding of what it takes to care and work with horses.
We keep the groups small so that everyone can enjoy quality time with our animals. This interactive educational experience is perfect for families or groups of friends. Both adults and children will love our interactive educational experience. While our focus is on smaller groups, we can accommodate larger groups. Riders – $80 (All ages welcome )
We require 2 participants minimum per time slot to run the encounter. If you are alone, please give us a call and we can find a group to add you to!
The experience is designed for anyone interested in connecting with horses. No one is too young or old.. our staff is here to accommodate your needs.
*All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult
